We weren’t able to watch this match. It wasn’t broadcast on free-to-air TV and we were out anyway. From the reports the match went much like the Ghana match – single good goal scored by us just after half-time, opposition applied a lot of pressure in the second half but couldn’t put it past Mark Schwarzer in goals.
We received a letter yesterday from Blakehurst High School that Callum has gained a place for year 7 in 2009. He is very happy and we are extremely relieved. Conrad is excited too because this means he has a good chance of getting in when it is his time to go to High School. </p> <p> Callum so wanted to go to Blakehurst and now he doesn’t have to worry any more about getting into the school. He can spend the rest of year 6 concentrating on his school work and sport.
