Callum and his football (soccer) team celebrated their premiership win today. The final match ended in a draw so BHS 13Bs are sharing the first place with Kingsgrove High. Their teacher, Mr Kumar, got permission for the team to forego training today and have a pizza party instead. They had a great time. Callum said he ate a whole pizza, bar one piece. He hasn’t got his certificate or medal yet because it will take a long time for Mr Yelavich to hand them out at assembly. So Callum had a great day and the icing on the cake was the news that the team is sharing the premiership with Kingsgrove after all. It was a nilce gesture of Mr Kumar to get the team together this afternoon for a ‘championship party’ before they start their Mini Soccer season next week.
