Callum is still soldiering on fantastically. He is still right into the spirit of being a ‘high school student’ and he has found the transition from Primary to High School much less traumatic than expected. Also he enjoys having his old friends from South Hurstville around him and he tells us nice stories about their daily little meetings and chats. He has also made new friends, whom I am yet to meet, and I am getting curious what they are like.
Tomorrow is our second P&C meeting at the school and Steven and I have decided to attend these meetings as much as we can. If in two years Conrad also gains a place at Blakehurst High School it will be even more important to get involved. But it is early days yet and we haven’t quite figured out how to best make ourselves useful. We shall see.
